A personal look into The Music Oasis: a weekend music retreat built for real artists who are ready to grow, reconnect, and create with intention.
What is the Music Oasis Music Retreat?
Over the years — whether performing, teaching, or writing — I’ve met a lot of musicians who are hungry for something more than just another class or program. They don’t want to be taught at; they want to be supported. They want time, space, and the kind of guidance that comes from people who’ve been where they are.
That’s what led me — alongside my friend and fellow artist Marlon Sanders — to create The Music Oasis.
This is a weekend music retreat for artists who are ready to dig deeper. Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve been at it for years, our goal is to offer a space that’s focused, creative, and real. We host it in New York, where we work with each participant one-on-one and as part of a group, helping shape songs, refine performance, and build confidence through honest feedback and collaboration.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about growth — musical and personal.
What Makes This Weekend Music Retreat & Coaching Program Stand Out?
The Music Oasis is different. That means every artist gets real time and real attention. It’s not a crowded class — it’s a focused, supportive space where you can open up, get specific with your craft, and leave with something tangible.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- One-on-one music coaching tailored to your instrument, voice, or songwriting process
- Live playing and recording opportunities so you walk away with performance experience
- Group sessions focused on collaboration and creative support
- Plenty of downtime to rest, reflect, and reconnect with your music without pressure
- A strong emphasis on community, encouragement, and growth
If you’ve been looking for a New York music coaching experience that actually sees you as an artist — not just a student — you’re in the right place. This retreat is built by musicians, for musicians.
If this speaks to where you’re at right now — or where you want to go next — I’d love for you to be a part of it.
